How refreshing to find a company that provides a quality product on time without having to nag or hassle them to get it done. When I decided to move into a new home, one of my first calls was to Dennis at Southwest Design LLC. The security door I picked out was delivered on time and is just lovely.

This is a far cry from the service (actually lack of service) I received from Southwest Iron Works for the security door I ordered for my previous home. They said delivery would be in 4 to 6 weeks but it was over 10 weeks, and then the door handle fell off as soon as I tried to use the door. When I called they said I could fix that myself, but they eventually did come over and put the handle back on properly. The door was fine for a while but eventually it got harder and harder to lock and unlock. Then one day I noticed it was actually coming away from the house! When I called about that this company didn’t even have me in their computer any more. They said I could probably fix that with some caulking. I told them they installed it improperly and needed to make it right. They said they would fix it for a price. Rather than throw good money after bad, I found Southwest Design LLC. When Dennis looked at the door he found that they had used regular screws and attached their heavy metal door to the molding, instead of using bolts attached to the frame of the house. No wonder it was sagging! Dennis had to take the door completely off and install it properly. There were no problems with it after that.

Southwest Design believes in repeat customers, they don’t forget about you when the work is done. After Dennis saved the day with that “other” door, I called him when I needed some stylish fencing installed. When my sister needed a security door, I called Dennis. And when I wanted a fabulous security door for my new home, I called Dennis. The security door off my deck is not only totally attractive but also makes me feel completely safe. The quail design is charming and the special shade of green is perfect for its setting. Having a dual purpose - aesthetics and security - makes this door so appealing. Southwest Design did a perfect job on it and I always feel secure as a result of it.
